Cancellation & refund Policy

Instructor/program cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel the itinerary prior to departure for any reason, including insufficient participation or unforeseen logistical issues such as strikes, military actions, natural disasters, or other circumstances that may make the trip unfeasible. If the workshop is canceled before departure, a full refund, including the deposit, will be issued. Please note that plane tickets will not be reimbursed. We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance and/or opting for flexible flight cancellations.

Once in Mexico, if the workshop needs to be canceled or modified due to factors such as government restrictions, weather, transportation delays, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, an assessment will be made, and a potential partial refund will be considered.

Participant Cancellations

IMPORTANT: No refunds will be issued unless a completed waiver and registration form (see left) have been submitted.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Remaining Balance: Cancellations made after the full balance has been paid must be submitted in writing and confirmed by Amanda Schroer.

  • Cancellations received by May 1, 2025 will receive a 100% refund (minus the deposit).

  • Cancellations received by June 15, 2025 will receive a 50% refund (minus the deposit).

  • Cancellations after June 15, 2025 are non-refundable.

Please note, as a small business, our class sizes are limited and depend on every participant for the workshop to run smoothly. A cancellation can significantly impact our costs, and we appreciate your understanding.

Buying plane tickets

Please wait to purchase your plane tickets until you hear from the instructors. You will be contacted shortly after the workshop balance is due on May 1, 2025.

Important note

  • Trip cancellation and travel insurance are highly recommended.

    Please refrain from purchasing your plane ticket until you have been confirmed that the class will run, which will happen after May 1, 2025. A minimum of six participants is required for the workshop to proceed. If you purchase your ticket before receiving confirmation, you will be responsible for any associated costs.

    Refunds will not be issued in the event of illness. We also suggest wearing a mask during travel for added protection.
